What data the App uses

• Chat messages: what you type and the AI responses shown to you

Where data goes

• Your chat messages are sent to OpenAI (through our backend) to generate a response.

• Your conversation (your messages + AI responses) is stored in our Convex database so it can persist across app sessions during your use iteration.

What is not shared or stored

• Saved notes and session summaries are created on your device and are not stored on our backend or shared with third parties.

• The App does not require login and does not collect your name or email address at this time.

Your controls

You can inquire about request deletion of stored conversation data by emailing:
ContactCoachKell@gmail.com

When you email, please include:

• Subject line: Deletion Request

• Approximate dates of use (to help us locate the data)

• Coaching conversations are deleted when you end your session. As an additional safeguard, all data is automatically purged within 24 hours. You can also manually delete all data at any time from the Support screen.

Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect stored conversation data. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Not for kids

The Socratic Coach App is not intended for children under 13 and is most appropriate for people 18+.

If you are under 18, please get permission from a parent or guardian before using the App.
